Camping & Touring Parks in area

The image top is of the Car Park for the Coral Beach. The walk from the Car Park to the Beach is under two miles out, about a 25 minute walk.

The Car Park can be busy through the day in summer, evenings may not be as busy.

The path runs over a small hill from where you get your first view of the Beach.

At the north end of the Beach is a rocky hill known as the Ghrobain, with great views over the Beach, showing just how clear the sea is in this area.

North of the rocky hill is a scenic headland, well worth walking out too, only about half of a mile from the beach.

There is a small Island about 150 yards offshore from the Beach named Lampay. Very low tides reveal a coral causeway that allows access to the Island.

The road between Coral Beach and Sligachan is one of the most scenic on Skye.
