The image top is from the south road that
takes you round past cliffs about 2 miles south
of the Ben More car park, an extremely scenic
route.
The car park is by a shingle beach with
large grass areas ideal for picnics, in the
area named Dhiseig, one of the most scenic
spots in Scotland.
The trail to the mountain starts off
following a road at the car park up past a sign
saying Ben More Estate. You follow this road
then follow signs from the road onto the trail
to the top. The lower section can be boggy with
the top section being rocky. Large

Hike
Information.
A tough and dangerous route is to go up the
868 m / 2,847 ft A' Chioch and across a narrow
steep ridge up to Ben More. This route should
only be attempted by experienced hikers.
Crossing from Ben More to A' Chioch is more
dangerous as it entails going down the steep
and narrow ridge.
