The image top right is of the large free Car
Park at Neist Point, most people drive up to
the end, turn, then pick the closest space to
the top.
The second image is from the Viewpoint up to
the right of the Car Park where you get the
best photos.
There is a good Path out to the Lighthouse
with two fairly steep sections.
You can also hike to the top of the Hill
just before the Lighthouse for great views,
takes about 15 minutes to hike to the top, mind
the Cliffs on the Hill though.
Neist Point Lighthouse was designed by David
Alan Stevenson, with it first operated 1st
November 1909, is open for visits some
days.
From the Lighthouse you get great views of
the Hill with its Cliffs.
You can walk about 1 mile east along the
Clifftops for some amazing sights, an area
popular with Rock Climbers, as seen in the
bottom right 2 images, with more large images
of the Rock Climbing from the Large Images link
at the top of this page.
Other Attractions in this area are the
Dunvegan Giant Museum in Dunvegan,
Dunvegan Castle 1 mile north of
Dunvegan, and Coral Beach 4 miles north of
Dunvegan Castle.
