The image top right is from the road up from
the south to Uig with the Rha Waterfalls in the
centre of the Village where the Road north to
Staffin starts.
If driving, you can park in front of the Old
Police House at the Sign for the road north to
Staffin, then walk 200 yards along the Staffin
Road to the Rha Bridge.
There is an Information Board at the Bridge
giving information on the area, such as a
Parking Place by the Football Park with a
Woodland Walk, Walk to these Waterfalls from
there, and a Walk to a High Point with views
down over Uig.
There is a good Man Made Path from the
Bridge up to the Waterfalls, about a 200 yard
walk.
This image right is during a long dry spell,
so the Waterfalls during a rainy spell will be
even more impresive.
Most people visiting the Waterfalls also
vist Fairy Glen at the south side of Uig,
up a single lane road next to the Uig
Hotel.
Other attractions in Uig are by the Ferry
Pier such as Bar / Restaurant with Pier views,
Brewery with a Shop, and Uig Pottery with Skye
themed pottery.
